I’ve tried red light for my face (but not for hair yet) and believe in it philosophically. I have heard some positive things about those laser caps and may try it at some point. I’ve also heard good things about PRP for hair loss but it’s quite pricey so I haven’t tried it yet.
you're so welcome! Pls feel free to return to the comments here if you have any question in the future! I'm happy to keep this space open for Q&A about hair loss any time!

Your story could be mine, but RA drugs and covid were my initiators. I'm naturally silver and went from long, super-thick hair to short CURLY hair. Talk about a blow to the ego. I feel like I look like an old, old woman. I'm learning to view myself differently, but I am tempted to get a radically chic short haircut and embrace the moment.
I wish more women would talk about hair loss and changes to the texture of their hair as we age. It's a pretty universal concern but we tend to feel like we're alone because it's rarely discussed. I'm with you. And YES to the radically chic short haircut!
Thank you for your honesty about dealing with hair loss. I'm in the midst of postpartum hair loss 2nd round with 2nd baby. Around 4-5 months I loss a ton of hair then a ton grew back but now starting to lose a lot again at 10 months pp. Fingers crossed it grows back. I have nutrafol pp but my baby didn't like it (through breastmilk) so I'm going to try again soon now that he's older. I'm going to keep your newsletter saved for the handy tips!
Thanks for the recommendations! I’m going to try the Mielle mask and Moroccan hydrating creme. I too used to have luscious locks but age and gray have changed that, lol. And I just might get a silk pillowcase.
Just tried Moroccanoil’s hair mask this morning and really like that one too! Highly recommend if you’re looking for another mask. It’s a thicker mask but a little goes a long way. It made my hair super slippery in the shower
I’ve already ordered both masks for my daughter and I to try. She has thick lovely hair but is always fighting dryness. I have life long fine blond hair that has become more dry and brittle with age. My hair was always so healthy! Frustrating. Thank you so much for ideas and products. And I agree the pillowcase is a great product.
Yes! I love both of those masks and also highly recommend Pantene Rescue Shots for travel. I don't love the single-serving plastic for everyday use but the little tubes are great to pop in a suitcase occasionally. The Colorwow one is really great. It gets a bit pricy which is why it's nice to have a few drugstore options IMHO. Heat styling and water quality are other big factors. Would look into the Dyson tools if you heat style at all since they really put a lot of research into hair health and heat. Amika and Briogeo also make great masks if you start really getting into them!
Have you tried red light therapy? Would love to know your thoughts!

As someone who suffers from female pattern hair loss, I appreciate the candor and the product recommendations. Thanks!

It’s so tough! Hang in there. It can feel like such a slow process. Feel free to message me if you need advice! I’m sending you positive vibes!

wait for the sephora sale - the silk pillowcases become more reasonable!
Always love a sale! And i think it’s a good thing to splurge on either way considering how many hours we spend on our pillows

Hair massages and coconut oil are price conscious and natural ways to help with hair growth.
