This is totally crass, and rude but here it goes, how do you afford such fragrances. The prices you have quoted are my grocery budget for a week to two weeks. I am in the USA with two dogs and one husband.
Hey there, not crass or rude at all. As a beauty editor/writer, you get products sent to you for testing. I try to include a range of prices and am always a bit hesitant to include products on the super luxury side of the scale but some people do want it which is why I do a range.
Thanks so much. I have two fragrances I wear, Estée Lauder white Linen, and a very old bottle of Magic Noir by Lancôme. Lancôme has a nice Ode to Lancôme. Citrus kind of, but it has been a long time since I hit a mall, at least a year.
you can try the perfumed court site--they have samples and decants that make some very expensive perfumes accessible. they don’t have everything of course but they have quite a lot.
Love the Skims campaign- the retro is very appealing! I may need to try. My teenager wears this brand and I may be the only woman who hasn’t tried it yet!
You’re not the only one! I’ve looked at some of their stuff in stores bc similarly, my daughter likes it. It’s a bit pricy for what it is but the quality seems to be pretty solid. And their success is definitely having an impact on other brands. I’ve been seeing a lot more seamless launches that look verrrry similar.
The bodysuits are perfection & hold up well. I have them in scoop neck, t-shirt and even a faux leather one. The bralettes are really nice too. Like Free People but better. Skims has bi-annual sale that is really great.
I don't love how SKIMS tries to make everything sexy. Does long underwear need to be sexy? That being said, the cotton rib tanks and leggings/long underwear are really great. I have two sets. Even though I think they are overpriced, I absolutely love to wear them. Can something be both overpriced and awesome?
